Hey everyone! 
DracoSyndrome and I have been working on a semi-secret comic project together over the last year and a half. Now that the prologue is almost complete we figured we would start showing off some of the early concepts we put together to help build the world of Signal Lights.
In short Signal Lights is a fan project based on the universe of Myriad Song by Seguin Games. The story is set on the world of Marivillo, an inhospitable desert planet that serves as a casino tourist trap that is inescapable if one has the misfortune of becoming stranded on world. The comic has five primary protagonists and today I would like to introduce the first of them. Meet Ajax the really effing big Towser styanding a towering 5'6" and weighing almost 500lbs due to the density of his silica based biology (he looks like he should weigh about 220lbs).
A brief background:
Ajax formally served the Averlini Merchentile Group (AMG) as part of Wolf Army, a private army at the disposal of the Sword Corporation. After the "Corval Affair" Ajax was "rewarded" with a license to operate as an individual mercenary as part of VIP security details. It was one of these assignments that brought him to Marivillo Accompanying Kurt Sampson CEO of the "small" RADCOM corporation. In a twist of fate Kurt won big at the tables and in to the interest of the planet's elites. At a party celebrating his new found wealth local socialite and billionaire Jhark Skansen gave some "advice" to the newly minted fat cat. Upon returning to the hotel Kurt fired Ajax (and the entirety of his security detail) leaving him stranded on the planet, the comic will pick up 10 months after this event.
Ajax is a soldier and serves as the party's ace in the hole if things appear to be turning violent. He also serves as the parties operations specialist happily taking charge when the party decides on a course of action that requires skillful applications of the art of violence. While he is strong and capable he suffers from the nightmarish traumas of his own past which have left a terrifying shadow deep within him.
