Greetings everyone. So I have a new concept art here featuring the character of Inspector Griggs, along with a few supporting characters that become relevant mostly in the second half of the animation.

Context wise, in this scene Griggs wants to investigate some unusual activity occurring in the "Arboreal Red Zone" far to the North of Port Zarragoza; however, his command does not authorize him to use assets from his garrison so he has to make a deal with the Volterrans of "Apex Security".

Veritas, the mercenary Centurion seated directly across from Griggs thinks the patrol is likely a waste of time. The rest of her squad is mostly annoyed that they got pulled of "easy guard duty" to go on a long patrol to a far away location.

Minerva (not shown here) thought the patrol was worth the risk, as Griggs offered all credit and potential loot to Apex Security if successful, and only wanted a share of the investigative intelligence for his part.
(Griggs being the only one with information to narrow down the potential search area, which he keeps on his person in paper form to make sure the Volterrans don't cut him out of the deal).

In this picture visually I was really glad to be able to show off some of the changes to the Volterran Legionaries lately, they've changed a ton since their initial designs and up until now I haven't been able to show that off.

Seyumei as always did a wonderful job with the lighting, colors, and details here. This concept art took a while, I think we started it in the fall of last year, but I think it was worth the effort and turned out really awesome.
