Yeah, I don't quite get it either. Besides I thought in another comic, Gurume had his own persona...so how can personas have their own personas...then again I never played the games either.
Also I'm not clear on what the presence of Janus is doing...is he like a Stand? Are we borrowing from both Persona -and- JoJo's Bizzare Adventure?

Jojo's bizarre adventure truly is a bizarre adventure. Basically, it's a generational series where each generation has a Jojo as the main lead(somewhere in their first name they have "Jo" and somewhere in their last name they also have "Jo" and they are called "Jojo" for short. They have to deal with their family curse of attracting danger and have to fight some great evil and it's not always guaranteed that the Jojo will be truly successful or even survive. They is usually are given a stand(a spiritual manifestation of their fighting spirit that stands by their side) and are named after musical references and the powers are based off them as well.
You are correct, so this would be the reverse summoning. Where the summons calls the summoner. As for the persona/ Jojo references, because Helix has a lot in common with Janus' on a more personal level.
A stand, shadow, persona are all basically the same thing where it is the other side of you/ your inner self made manifested.
