Equestrian magic has shown time and time again to cause all sorts of strange and bizarre effects in the human world. One one particular day, a dorky student at Canterlot High, finds a strange looking pen that has been unknowingly imbued with a stray wave of Equestrian Magic...

The student, name "Crimson Spread", is a boy interested in storytelling and roleplaying. In fact, he's the head of a L.A.R.P Club at the school, but unfortunately not a lot of folks are interested on account of how dorky is sounds. But one day, the kindest and sweetest member of the Mane 7, Fluttershy, joins the club feeling sorry for the poor boy. With a new member, she allows Crimson to write up her character sheet for the club's theme: "Heroes Across Time and Space". But as Crimson begins to write, the magic from the pen takes affect, slowly transforming Fluttershy from a calm, quiet and shy young girl, to a brave, bombastic and strong barbarian princess from another world!

Crimson is understandably shocked once he's done, but as he tries to register what had just transpired, Rainbow Dash calls out to her friend... As he listens, new, strange thoughts start bouncing around the young boy's head. The magic contained in the pen, slowly invades his mind, as Crimson's plans suddenly take an unexpected detour. Equestiran Magic is also known to corrupt any users unfamiliar with its power... and it appears as if this is no exception...

Another character I feel gets underutilized in TF art is Barbara from the Rayman series. So me and my friend put together another fun piece staring a certain shy girl from Canterlot, becoming said princess.
