The swamp is only one small portion of the world of Mur, there are the frontiers. Expansive lands empty of civilization after the moonfall destroyed much of the world as it once was. But Mur are resilient and slowly reclaim what was lost those centuries ago.

In the far north, where the intense cold can freeze you solid in minutes, they have built up a city, importing willing volunteers to work and repopulate.
