Studio Series Revenge of The Fallen Sideswipe
So I had both the OG RoTF Sideswipe, and the 2010 Sidearm remake as a kid. This guy is definitely more poseable than those two, but I find myself disappointed - his car mode is very finnicky, he feels much smaller (maybe I'm just bigger, don't have the other two for comparison), and he has a lot hanging off his back. Still, I like how they managed to incorporate both sets of weapons. The OG RoTF version only had the swords, and the Sidearm version only had the shotguns.
Kingdom Galvatron
I was torn between this guy and Rodimus last month, but I decided to get Galvatron physically because of the frequent assembly issues he has. I ended up paying more than retail for him as a consequence, but man is he worth it. Both his modes are clean as fuck, and he's such a solid figure. I have a few issues, but they're more me just being a perfectionist, and the upgrade kit looks like it'll fix them.
Kingdom Earthrise Optimus Prime
Found this guy going cheap on Ebay so I thought I'd see what all the fuss was about - I skipped most of Earthrise because I was unemployed during 2020, and I wasn't on student money yet. He's better than everyone said he's be tbh. He really has that Masterpiece-style quality to him. My biggest issue from when I first saw him was his ass-wheels, but they're actually removable. Otherwise, like Galvatron, a solid figure. I'm selling my Siege Optimus Prime now, since he's effectively redundant.
Golden Disk Collection Terrorsaur
My God, this guy was hard to get. I'd almost given up hope when Amazon notified me he was in, for a short window. Just managed to snag him, but he still took a week to turn up. Honestly I feel he wears the Airazor mold better, even if he isn't very screen accurate. He feels bulkier, and it looks like they fixed the wing issue. I will note however, his wings and feet are insanely loose, and unfortunately his gun doesn't support effects. I'm also confused as to why the Vok disk he carries has the NASA casing on it. Only the Voyager Disk packaged with The Ark/ The Last Autobot should have that.
Kingdom Tigatron
Again, this guy was a bitch to get. Amazon actually had the orange special edition variant in stock ages before him, but I wanted screen accuracy. With him, I now have all of the Beast Wars Season 1 Maximals. He's an improvement on Cheetor in every way, although that is to be expected as Tigatron is much larger. I'm not a fan of how he has no weapon storage, but everything else is solid. His Tiger paws even have BEENZ
