Well, like there is no detail to be seen in the darker areas of your friend's shirt and hair. It's just a flat black and has no apparent texture; but my brain makes the assumption that there is or has to be texture there, but I can't see it, so I'm going kinda nutty when looking at those areas. Lots of people like that, I just prefer to have some detail in the dark areas. Otherwise, the pic is mint condition, in my opinion.

Its a RAW image so its no problem to get the details out of this areas, but I liked to skip them to conzentrate on the main features: hand and bird. That´s why I turn the area completly black. :)
