I wonder, how did you manage to make the fur look so soft and dreamy? There's great detail in those little tufts of fur.

Just Photoshop tricks... I scan pencil image into Photoshop (with the fur lines drawn). Then block in colors in layers (in multiply or overlay mode), flatten the image and use the smudge tool a lot (at different pressure settings). BTW I don't use a tablet, just my mouse.
