Yeah, I've been on both sides of that. I've had Walking Med-Kits that were more interested in finding loot than healing me, leaving me to aggro everything in sight, then brushing it off because "You're the Tank, it's your job to aggro the enemies."
On the other end, I've had Tanks that just assumed I'd heal them no matter what, somehow reading their minds (or lack thereof) and knowing exactly what they were going to do and when, so they'd go off on their own without announcing it and end up alerting an enemy. They walk straight past it and out of range, of course, but now it's alerted. So when I, unknowingly, walk into its range it immediately aggros on me. So I spend the next several turns just trying to heal myself, only to end up dying.
One of the reasons I don't game anymore.
