(seriously, they're not the bulky fiberglass ones either, these puppies are Kevlar!)

It's easier to handle them in gloves that go below the elbow.

Yea, for handling the teaching eagles we use full arm gloves because thy perch. You want more mobility when you're tackling a wild bird.

only birds I work with semi-regularly are fighting roosters, I'd rather NOT have mobility lol...but the Kevlar arm-length ones aren't too bad, not like the fiberglass-insert leathers that look like I should be blacksmithing.
