I know people that deal with them cutting across their property that is posted No Trespassing and damaging fences. After a few of them got caught and all their equipment was impounded the word got out don't do that.
As I understand they were cutting across the property to save 10 or 12 miles if they had to go around it to get to the sweet place to ride.
