This image turned out better than I expected seeing how Flash Photography was not allowed in the main exhibit areas. I figure that one of our afternoon chat might appreciate the image as it takes a pretty brave Soul to climb into all that Kevlar and keep their "Cool".

Most the folks I've met who've had experiences with such gear are highly trained Professionals who constantly think at least four or five moves for their One against the bomber.. I agree about modern explosives though. I wouldn't be surprised if there's stuff out now that makes PE4 look like "Silly Putty".
Oh yes. I was challenged to build up 1/35th scale representations of IED resistant "Hum-Vees" but gave up after 2001. My particular fave is still the MRAP and the RG33 with the manipulator boom. (If you want a bomb resistant AV that is just plain, ugly-ugly, you can't beat the Husky MK III VMMD.)
