This translucent carnivore stalks the pools of the great swamp in search of prey. Its two stalk eyes set above its large immovable one seek out heat signatures of smaller things moving along the bottom.

Once its prey is within range, its long tongue, tipped with a sharp barb, shoots out and pierces through its target before being swiftly pulled back within its proboscis where it contracts muscles to crush its prey before it even reaches its stomach.

As long as a jest's leg, they are not a danger to Mur, but have been known to sting them for getting too close.
