Dixie is originaly a mew before she mixed her aperance with dragonair form out of personal interest. After being eaten for the first time by a certain Zekrom she enjoy it and got adicted to be eaten by some one else. She loved shrinking her self and being swalowed and digested by some one else, she also have self reformation ability because not all of her pred can revive her.
