So,  LaurenRivers has requested that I post some of the work I did for her here in my FA. You can find these, as well as many more of the our commissions, in her own gallery (and on my site). And if you're thinking, I'd really like to know more about these characters, she has fiction in her gallery as well. 'Kay? :)

"This is a canon scene, set after the end of the series. It is likely they are still on board the cargo ship, though for the purposes of the commission they could be at Lauren's mother's. Lauren rests in a rocking chair, heavily pregnant with her second baby. She looks up to her husband, who bounces their young daughter in his arms. (She is currently unnamed, though I considered Amber or Julie) She has her mother's stripes and hooves, and her father's lupine face and tail. My RL teddy bear looks on from the crib, likely to be passed on to the new baby. On the floor, Aunt Sayenne reads the instructions on how to assemble this nuclear atom splitter (Really, why do kids toys have to have a jillion parts??? WTF?) While Uncle Kyle stresses over how to put it together.

I secretly found it amusing that these four have survived pirates, wormholes, galaxy ending weapons, dying, and numerous numerous sword/gun fights, but they're stumped by a child's toy. LOL.

I absolutely love the child's drawings Duo threw in on the walls. I just asked her to make them look like a five year old did them, and she did great! It takes a phenomenal artist to draw like a five year old, it's harder than it looks. :)"
