Just warning him about if his feelings are true or it's just Dwellers instincts talking, that's what I'm assumming.
I just hope Taylor starts having doubts again and his gf asks "again with it?" and reassures him, while asking why the question all of sudden again, then he spills the beans about what happened today.
It would show besides being salty, he kinda feels bad by what he said and still have doubts since then. Like it's an every weirdly ironic couple's doubts. ♡

Maybe not. Probably Taylor was just warning him about their relationship. Like Hershel did use Brin to satisfy his prey insticts, and now is Hershel really in a relationshipxout of love or because he have an easy way to satisfy his instict?
Now I think Taylor probably had the same doubts in the past and don't want Hershel to go through that unless he really likes Brin beyong of him being a Gobbler.

So he rudely suggests that he end the relationship and calls Hershel "unprofessional" for doing such a thing when in the past hershel didn't feel anything for any Gobbler. I would say its instinct if hershel was constantly seeking that sorta thing in the past however he seemed to prioritize his work over his own interest. The only difference is Brine treated him well. Sorta like his thoughts and emotions mattered as well going as far to care for Hershel. Due to this Taylor is turned into someone who ironically lives with the same situation yet judges other people for acting the same mainly cause he seems to want to put himself higher than anyone else.
In that understanding, Taylor turns into an asshole who lives in a similar situation as our main character yet at the same time projects what seem to be his own insecurities onto hershel to seem better while also somewhat dealing with his own strife in an unhealthy way.

Taylor just pointed out an issue of their relationship and his professionalism, as you can see in page 104. He never assumed that Brine was just going along with it and accept his misdeeds because he was Brine's superior. That's why he "rudely" suggests to end it, if they really were not just what their jobs were suppose to prevent, so they wouldn't hurt each other's feelings.
Which Taylor's thoughts were kinda a good insightment because now Hershell is aware of their situation and did the right thing: discuss their relationship.

You see someone looking out for a coworker. I see someone projecting their own feelings onto someone else. Mainly because of how Taylor acted towards Hershel in the beginning part of to comic. I won't ignore that Hershel needed to talk to Brine qbout some things sure but their are better ways of telling someone and warning them and Taylor did not use those methods.
My theory is that he's projecting hidden feelings onto other people in an attempt to unhealthily cope with shit he must have went through in the past. Much like he went on a rant of taking out the Gobblers while dating one all the same. I never said he's just an ass. I said he's dealing with his own shit by projecting those feelings onto others which is no better.
