Rimba Racer is an absolutely great show. I never thought that something with kid-show-esque overly vibrant colors would such an engaging and dramatic story. So much so, to show my love for this hidden gem of a cartoon… I did another damn crossover pic again. This time with the cast of the cartoon if they were seen in Kamen Rider Drive, so there’s that.
Say hello to the newest face of the RGP, and star of the show, the specialized investigator hound, Rayez. Otherwise known as none other than Drive. A hot-shot PI who might not be the best racer around, (compared to legends like Tag or Axle), but he makes up for it for his love of bringing white-collar criminals to justice. His base form is none other than Type Speed (based on a stereotypical racecar), which unsurprisingly, gives home the ability to move incredibly fast, and delivers swift (yet strong) attacks towards any enemy.
Like with all Riders, there is a tire attached somewhere on the body, with can be changed out with Tire Change Shift Cars to act as a secondary power alongside the main body. Fitting that he’s somewhat of a policeman, Drive’s Shift Tire of choice is Justice Hunter (based on a police car obviously), which gives him a gridded shield as a weapon, which can release energy barriers like some sort of easily-summonable wall.
Lastly, there’s the madness that is Drive’s Full Throttle, and it’s a doozy. When Drive activates his finisher, his car, the Tridoron, starts spinning around the target, so fast to the point where it only stands on two of his side wheels. When the time is right, Drive does his Rider Jump onto the top of his car (which is now on an angle due to stand only on its side wheels, and bounces directly off it doing his signature Rider Kick, bouncing off his still revolving car and the target completely stuck in the middle of his beatdown.
