Everyone meet Durk McCarthy, one of the newest characters in the Drohan-verse lineup of characters! But he is unique; he actually started life as a human character with the same name in a short romance novel I dreamed up in college called "Roses and Harleys", in which a biker meets and falls in love with a fashion designer named Helena Lopez. But because I had never been in love, I dropped it. But then when I became a furry and created my whole furry universe, I decided to bring them both back but as lions as it was very easy to develop them in their fictionalized forms than trying to tie them to "real life".
Durk is a very humble, down to Earth guy that loves life, people, and making memories, something he gained when he started biking across the many places in the world of Gaea. He values life and recognizes where he came from and never forgets that. He doesn't stand bullies, snobs, and elitists. It's those qualities that brought him and Helena close as she felt that she could finally meet someone with a true heart in Durk.
