My first submission here at FA! Hooray!

This is my most recent piece that I just finished. And it's not as random as it looks, I swear. The lighting/scenery was inspired by the video game The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning for PS2 (for those who own it, it was the Forge, with the pretty blue under-lit water). However, as I drew this, the drawing began to sprout a mind of its own, so it turned out rather differently than I had planned. Mainly because of the sword. My original idea was to have the light coming from the water swirling around her feet, but I also decided to have her holding a sword, and then that turned into a GLOWING sword (and no, it is not a light saber). Odd, I know, but it was very fun to draw anyway.

And you would not believe how many layers of colored pencils I put into this. I put endless layers and layers on, and it still came out grainy, even after I tried to blend it like crazy. D: I either need smoother paper, or better colored pencil skills.

Okay, so for what it is you're seeing... hmm. It is my fursona, in a cave with water on the floor, and the cave "hallway" behind her (which may not be very visible .. I dunno). I don't know why she's there, where the cave is, or why the sword is glowing, so you get to figure that out for yourselves. XD
