Finally finished a set of earrings from the opossum skeleton I have. They are very comfortable to wear and are mounted on a stud earring with the floral design there. The ribs are wire wrapped in silver with glass seed bead flower accents and were arranged in the dragon wing shape with a little glue. The earrings are attached by heavy wire wrapping to the stud, it will not come off short of purposeful abuse.

What kind of glue? I have also found five minute epoxy the best for bone.
As someone who works with both wire and bone (and is familiar with the fun of working with both in one piece), I must say, a rather epic piece. Ribs always make great dragon wing bones (I made wearable dragon wings out of cow bones once). The flowers are a lovely foil for the starkness of the bones, very Georgia O'Keefe. Great work and a great photo too.
