This has been a long time coming, but I finally got a reference sheet of Akulau thanks to  sonicfxs for this one! I recommend checking his stuff out whenever you can. He is more active on Twitter, which will be linked right before I get to explaining Akulau as a character.

Who is this rotund and heavyweight feline? This is Akulau, a resident to the city of Nasurah and a local streamer that has gained a name for himself based on the content he makes. He typically streams himself playing video games as a living, mostly either RPGs or platformers, but he isn't afraid to try something new every now and again for his audience. However, Fridays are a special day for a certain set of viewers as those are his weekly binge days. Aku has - what some may call - a strange affinity to gaining weight and he puts it on display with his weekly live food binges. He may often eat more than what his stomach can handle, but it entertains both his viewers and himself.

Outside of his line of work, Aku typically stays at his apartment and does about anything he wishes, but he always has a friend to get him out of the house so he doesn't turn into a total lazy cat. That friend of his happens to be from his childhood named Hydrangea, a chubby hybrid of Lucario and Leafeon. The two became friends when they were both little after seeing how different they were compared to other Pokemon of their kind, having stuck together into adulthood. While Akulau is enjoying a life at home, Gia is typically more outgoing and tries to make a living in the city she grew up in. Of course, Gia does her best to keep him out of his apartment so the two can bond than over the phone.

Relating to their past, Akulau was often too timid to approach many people thanks to his unique, fluffy coat of fur. His parents are from the forest, making him an oddball around the kids from the city, but his parents wanted him to make a living for himself. Even though that meant him learning more on his own than from his parents, but they hardly knew what the land of semi-tall buildings were like. Despite having difficulty fitting in around other kids, bumping into Gia while she was a young Riolu/Leafeon hybrid changed his life forever. Thanks to a lot of convincing by her folks, Gia was able to get Akulau into the school she was in. Though, education was somewhat faster for those in this world, so the two were practically ready to live on their own around the age of 18 for Gia and 20 for Akulau. Ever since then, the two have done what they can to be full adults. Aku occasionally takes a trip out to a meeting spot in the forest for him to talk with his folks, even if some chats can be either awkward or embarrassing for him.

But one thing still remains a mystery...where did his interest for gaining weight come from? It mainly started with some cartoons he watched with Gia when they were kids, but the real inspiration came when the two played in the forest one day and somehow lost track of each other. While wandering, Aku bumped into a rather doughy looking shiny Eevee that was much larger than the regular. Afraid of the larger fox, he didn't say anything, but the young Eevee could tell he needed help and managed to guide the little Shinx out of the more confusing part of the forest. This was all while Aku looked at the Vee's frame in silence, just taking in how one can walk with that amount of heft. They did find Gia soon enough, but the young fox had to abruptly leave after hearing a friend call out to him. Even though Gia didn't get to see this Eevee, it did leave an impression on Akulau that slowly grew on him over the years. It did lead him to eating more often, even growing lazy in some places, but this would eventually lead to his love of games and technology as he often relaxed at home. Streaming only became an idea to him while finishing his education and a career a year afterwards.

Overall, Akulau has had an interesting history of what made him who he is. His parents made a bold step for their child that ended up paying off in the long run as Akulau has made a unique name for himself around his area. Even though he does carry some of that timid nature to him to this day, Akulau does make some attempts at socializing and more so in his streams. But several things stir in his mind to this day as he begins to dabble in the field of tech more like that Eevee he saw as a Shinx. Would he ever see them again? He hopes so as it felt like a dream being in that forest, but he knew it was real. It had to be. Besides, he needs to thank whoever got him into liking a hefty frame on himself. But for now, Aku continues to stream and enjoy life the way he knows how.
