Ursula lazily dangled her necklace between her long red nails, watching the Princess's eyes follow it back and forth in a trance.
The Sea Witch grinned wickedly; her plan had worked perfectly, it was all too easy. The foolish young mermaid, too blinded by hopeless adoration for the human Prince, couldn't see that she never even had a chance to win true love's kiss in just three short days. Ariel had failed to keep up her end of their little bargain, and now she belonged to Ursula. The favorite daughter of the great Sea King was now in her clutches, and the Sea Witch felt a sense of vengeful victory swell inside her.
After snatching the Princess from the beach the moment the contract had expired, Ursula had carried her, coiled up and tentacled, back into the sea before performing a quick enchantment to ensure the girl could survive underwater. It was simple and effective, and even if Ariel woke up from her hypnosis, she had no means of escape; her bubble was the only pocket of air to be found in the deep ocean, and her little fish friends weren't here to help her swim back to the surface this time.
Ursula looked her prize up and down and chuckled to herself smugly. "Yessss, all mine~" she cooed, stroking the enchanted bubble with a tentacle. "Poor little Princess, just look at you, helpless, trapped, and completely under my control. And still in human form no less! How deliciously ironic~" The Sea Witch gloated. "I've never had a human for my little collection before, and you, my dear, are simply the perfect specimen~" She looped a tentacle around the bubble, pulling the Princess closer to her. "Just imagine what daddy will think when he finds out that his darling little girl now belongs to me~"
The Sea Witch began to cackle in devious delight; she had won, she was triumphant over that oaf, King Triton. Not even the magic of his precious trident could undo the deal Ursula had made with Ariel. Ariel's fate was sealed, Triton had lost his daughter, and now Ursula had a new plaything to boot. It was all too perfect.
And she didn't have any plans to let the girl awaken from her trance any time soon~
