Recently began reading The Gaze by Warren Hutch, and have found it phenomenal! One of the main aspects of the story is a custom Grumman Goose (Grummhund Goose in the story, hee hee!) seaplane, that was modified by Gwen Riley and Loretta Pike with a glass bottom, used for tours, and the occasional spy run. I instantly fell in love with the unique craft ,Warren's talented writing, and the captivating characters. Being that I am a big fan of model railroading, as a tribute to Warren, who sadly passed not to long ago, I decided to build a model of the Glass Goose to put on my layout. Using the epic power of 3D printing, the base components of the model are being created in this photo. Being that my stories center around a museum on South Island, the Glass Goose and other artifacts from D-tails Excursions will certainly have a presence in my museum.
