Good swimmers, maybe they unionized after Ming The Merciless. Gritty reboot/videogame version when? My version here lacks certain mammalian features from the original cartoon for personal flat justice/taste/anatomy. Raises too many questions otherwise.

Nice version, love the scale textures.
I think it was quite openly implied the various people of Mongo -Lion-Men, Lizard Women, Hawkmen - were created from humanoid stock via genetic engineering. So frankly, makes sense that they have boobs. Likely they are warm-blooded too. Anyhow, that low-cut outfit... Ming sure was quite the pervert to make them all dress like that as an uniform. I drew a pic about that ages ago. :)

Haha I like your comic about the Ming standard issue uniform. With that genetic engineering angle that would really be interesting to see in (albeit done to absolute death at this point) a reboot. I won't hold my breath.
Indeed though even if they are naturally evolved creatures, they may need dinosaur/non-reptile hearts to pump blood around their upright bodies so being warm blooded makes sense, the issue is cooling down without sweat glands, hence being scantily clad I guess?

There was actually a TV series in the early 2000s. Of course, dirt cheap Sy-Fy stuff so the alien beast-people just had tattoos and such. And Ming was a schemer who was not in full control of the planet and was invading Earth for its water... pretty bad all in all.
