Banjo-Kazooie was one of my favorite games growing up, so it was mainly out of nostalgia that I played it again. I'm curious what someone who's playing it for the first time thinks of it, though.

I think it’s really fun and a pretty challenging!! haha, even though it’s new for me it almost feels nostalgic due to the fact I played games like Gex 2/3 and Mario 64 growing up. The dialogue is super goofy, but it’s endearing. Holds up really well for a game that’s like 24 years old!!

Yeah, the distinctive British snark of the development team at Rare really shines through in the dialogue. Honestly, I think the sequel, Banjo-Tooie, is even funnier in that respect, and it makes some refinements on the gameplay mechanics -- I'm hoping that it'll find its way onto the Switch as well, especially considering how few really big titles the N64 had back in the day (and how many of them were Rareware).

Personally, though, it's the music that put the biggest smile on my face.
