Starbeasts are a species of mine, you can't make one (And there aren't enough rules in place to have MYOs yet)

Basically, Starbeasts are the souls of stars, eldritch entities that embody the star. Anywhere their star's light reaches, they can go (So any planet with that star visible in the sky, the Starbeast can go. They are able to manifest themselves in many different sizes, and can even create a physical form to channel through.

A Starbeast is sustained by the energy of their star, and as such does not need to eat or feed. They simply exist.

Supergiant: SOLD!
A massive Starbeast, proud. Incredibly powerful.

Blue Violet: SOLD!
Large, strong, full of energy; and yet calm and beautiful.

Pulsar: Sold!
Full of manic energy, often known to chase its own stubby tail in circles. The glowing eyes, mouth, claws and pads flash in time with its star's spin.

Protostar: On Hold!
A Starbeast is born in the arms of a Nebula, from gas and dust. As the star starts to grow and heat up, taking more material, a Starbeast is born in its infant state. They can remain in this baby stage for 500,000 years... or longer. They will transform into their adult form once fusion begins in the core of their star; but if their star does not fully form and becomes a brown dwarf, they will remain in this baby stage for their entire existence. They spend a lot of time asleep and gathering energy. Mentally, they are no different from any other Starbeast.


They are generally explorers, and gather knowledge over their long existence. In solar systems with an inhabited planet, the Starbeast is often seen and worshipped as a Sun God, and will often protect their little planet and periodically walk the surface in a constructed physical form.
