These guys have a pretty cool shtick about them. The Rannen are super into their mechs/walkers,when their planet got blown up, very few of them survived, and the ones that did are kind of wondertech. The pilots of those original suits are, when they die, bejeweled and set to rest within the ready bay for their suit, watching over it, and the subsequent pilots, who will also be added to the shrine when they die.
