You aren't kidding V, thumbs are definitely one of natures best inventions.
I really like the concept of this species, which are basically ferals but with thumbs. I wonder how useful that would be, I mean you'd still be walking on all fours so your 'hands' wouldn't really be free to carry things, but you could still grasp and manipulate objects. It's fun to think about!
