I am a huge fan of homemade tapioca! And tried something new with it tonight for Christmas. Instead of vanilla and white sugar, I just use pure black sugar, or unrefined sugar with molasses. It gave it such a great rich and deep flavor!

Simple and easy!

2 1/2 cups milk
1 egg well beaten
3 tbsp tapioca
1/3 cup black sugar - https://www.atlasobscura.com/foods/.....wa-black-sugar

Add all, stirring constantly on medium heat, bring to boil. Remove from heat and let sit for about 20 minutes. I like serving it in coffee cups.
