Excellent work! Nice beat. The song gives off a strong Metroid-y vibe. Not quite sure if that is because I have the main character set to my desktop or what, but it gives me chills -- The good kind!

One thing I will say is that the song left me wanting a grander climax, I guess is a proper term. It felt like the song was building up to something and then started dying back down. On the other hand I like how "calm" the overall piece felt, so I guess I'm also grateful for that... Sorry: I also compose but I don't know any of the proper terminology, so I have difficulty explaining these types of things.

I agree, I too got a metroid-ish feel from the underscore (which is good :P)

However, I can understand why it doesn't really have a climax, look at the title -> The Calm Silence.

Yeah, I mean I almost thought at parts it was too intense but I just left it as is.
