Featuring Moonwing's character, Mun
- - -
Halloween was getting into motion by the time Mun had taken a shower and changed into a fresh set of clothes – furs of all sizes, shapes and description were starting to wander about the streets, bags and plastic pumpkins clutched in hand. The costume game was pretty on point and Mun gave a thumbs up to a fur who had managed to almost perfectly pull off a recent movie character.
Dusk was slowly settling over the town as he walked through the neighbourhood, in a few hours the kids would all be at home and the sound of more adult Halloween parties would rumble down the streets, echoing their music into the night. Mun's plans were a little more quiet, movies and candy would be more than enough for him but he'd have to hurry if he were going to contribute to anyone else's sugar rush. He had to get to Jenny, get the goods and get set up before trick-or-treaters arrived. Tail wagging he picked up the pace, a breeze rustling through the tree lined street as the cool October night began to set in.
At least his friend Jenny's house was pretty easy to recognise. It was one of the few houses in the street that also doubled as a business. High hedges lead the way through her front garden to a front door with a heavy wooden sign hanging off it. “Potion Shop” the sign declared in a subdued font. Vines crawled along the brickwork of the home and it gave a cosy feeling alongside the streamer of smoke that rose up from its chimney. Through the front window he could see the front room of the house, converted into a storefront lined with bottles of all sorts shining from wooden shelves. There were other things too, witching relics of different shapes and descriptions. They all looked almost mundane – if he didn't know any better Mun would have mistaken them for common household items like vacuum cleaners or paint brushes, brooms, that kind of thing. But, he supposed, that must be part of the point of having an enchanted item. They were inconspicuous. Magic was still not entirely a reputable practice, after all.
It only took two knocks to draw the witch from deeper within her home. The storefront was closed, otherwise Mun would have simply walked in and allowed the door chime to announce him. Heavy footfalls rumbled towards the door and Mun blinked as it opened. Jenny was significantly heavier than he remembered her being last time he had seen the mouse.
She was short – which only made her look all the wider, and as she stood in front of him, Mun struggled to imagine the mouse fitting her hips through the doorway. She had a large stomach that was the centrepiece of her obese body, a gelatinous orb that wobbled with her every motion and expanded with each of her breaths. It hung down to her knees and gave her arms something to rest on. The rest of the mouse had grown as well, but nowhere near as large as her gut. Her thighs, from what he could see of them, were large and soft looking, and her arms appeared to have a bit of heft, but her breasts seemed almost entirely unaffected, perky and small by comparison even as her dress struggled to contain everything within it. Clearly Jenny caught him staring and a blush crept across her muzzle.
“Uh, yeah, magical experiment went wrong,” she explained with a bit of a rub at the back of her neck. “But never mind that, welcome home!”
Jenny did in fact struggle to get through the door so when she stepped forward to hug him, Mun made the rest of the distance himself and squeezed against his flabby companion.
“Magical experiment went right, more like it.” Mun replied with a grin as the mouse stepped back to allow the hybrid into her home, leading him through the storefront.
“I suppose that could be the glass half-full interpretation..” Jenny admitted, her footfalls making some of the lighter glass bottles rattle against each other. Mun didn't push the topic, only kept up his grin. Jenny was a little like that. He was sure she enjoyed being fat and liked getting bigger even more, but she would deny it vehemently if asked, blushing the whole time. She was wearing the traditional witch's dress for the spookiest night of the year and it looked like she'd bought it before whatever experiment she was talking about, the dress clung to her like clingfilm. Thankfully a shawl around her shoulders kept things modest for any trick-or-treaters.
“Get anyone come looking for treats yet?” Mun asked as she had just finished walking around her kitchen counter to where a large orange bowl filled with candy sat.
“Hmm?” Jenny's ears perked up and she followed Mun's gaze to the bowl, “oh, this? This is for you!” Mun looked at it again, it seemed awfully small. His heart sank just a little – there was no way he'd be able to share the bowl with trick-or-treaters and indulge himself a little, but it was nice his friend had saved some for him. She must have read his look because she grinned and shook her head. “Don't worry, I think you'll find this is more than enough to last you the night.”
Mun tried not to look sceptical, it wasn't difficult. If Jenny said it would be enough there was probably more to it than met the eye.
“I've got my own collection,” she went on to say, motioning to the corner of the kitchen where Mun saw large grocery bags stacked to overfilling with candies, chocolates, marshmallows, and all manner of sweets. It certainly looked large enough to suit the mouse's own desires, as well fed as she looked. Mun grinned and nodded, taking the bowl in his hands. It had a heft to it that belied its size and looked to be made with heavy orange glazing. It looked almost like the bowl itself were made of orange hard candy. A discrete sniff indicated that it might be, too. That or the candies within gave off an orange aroma, either was possible.
“Well, I better get back home. I'd love to stay and catch up but if I did, I'd miss all the trick-or-treaters!”
“And I know you couldn't stand to do that. A creature like you likes candy too much not to share the love, hmm?”
Mun could only grin in reply. “I'll see you later! We'll catch up soon!” He said as he started towards the door, Jenny waved.
“I'll see you soon.” She said the words like she was sure of them.
