Background: Aurora was the princess of a race of Jackals with spiritual abilities, capable of using the power of their spirits to go beyond the limits of their mortal bodies, boosting their physical capabilities while developing magic of their own. After her people crossed paths with the tyrannical Darkenites, they were slaughtered, leaving Aurora the only one survived. Ever since then she's guarded the ruins of her kingdom from looters and ne'er-do-wells, even having a legend go around her country that her kingdom was cursed and those that entered it never came back. During her time alone, she developed her abilities to the point where she can go fast enough to stop time in short bursts, leaving fights with her up to prediction.
Eventually though, she met a wolf that helped her stray away from her life of solitude, taking her out of the kingdom from time to time and helping her guard it. She grew attached to him... maybe too attached considering how protective she is of him.
