I'm thinking she has to stay like that until the next person comes along and gives an assist, like a spotter when lifting.
With a snow leopard, it is all about tail placement. The heavy tail should curve gracefully over the back towards the head to keep so weight is held in graceful balance with the body, rather than hanging over the butt like a drag chute.
