Socks's head eventually seemed to morph to accommodate the extra air in his noggin, growing seams that closer resembled a pooltoy- his air valve, too, was replaced by a nozzle. Hopefully the effects are just temporary... it's a little lonely sitting up here while he's planted on the ground. One good thing though is that whenever he berates me for my failed escape attempt by calling me an airhead, I can call him a beach ball back.
