commission for  Caitlyn_Doebele !

so I finished this yesterday, and then had an extremely slow day today. Couldn't put a finger on it, just been lazy and distracted. Theeeen I remembered I hadn't posted this yet lol. This is one of 3 pieces I finished in the past few days that I'm just insanely proud of, something just clicked and I feel like I improved a lot very quickly! I sorta suspect part of the reason I've been so low today is that after making all that good stuff I hadn't posted any of it. I do tend to draw a lot of energy from sharing my stuff after all. Hopefully I'll be ready to post the other two pretty soon, for tonight though I'm gonna be curling up with some stuffies and monster for some nice relaxing video games lol. Considering putting off opening commissions to the start of february btw... I feel like I keep on pushing it off but this time... ehh I feel like I'm so darn close to finishing everything and if I could have just one day with nothing on my plate I think I'd melt (and hopefully regain a lot of energy lol). We will see, and I'll have decided by tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience with that, I'm really trying my best here ^u^;

anyways, back to the art! Caitlyn gave me a lot to work with here, which I do enjoy! I love the feeling when starting out on a piece that I can already visualize how it should turn out, and I think this is one that went smoothly from brain to canvas. Honestly the biggest artistic liberty I took was with the lighting, opting for an early morning look because I'd imagine these ladies are on a strict schedule! I recorded (almost) all the progress on it, which I may put together some time if I can, and I recalling spending a looong time on the posing. It's no secret that I struggle a bit with anthro characters, so I think the extra care in that aspect made a big difference over all.
