Managed to get on
jeso's queue again recently, and decided to have some fun. He's been spending a lot of time building up background for a story with his tigress Tyla and the amazons she has trained with, and often likes doing crossover bits with other characters, so I jumped in on that with an idea.
So here we have my inverse skunk girl Sara, working as a blacksmith at the Ether Forge in Sanctuary City, which is where Tyla lives and trains with others. Tyla is using her power to keep the fires at a controlled temperature while Sara shows off her blacksmith skills to repair an old Xiphos (ancient Greek short sword) and restore its power. Tyla loves learning new things and Sara loves showing off, and the amazons get one of their ancient weapons back, so everybody's happy! Sara even gets to use her personal hammer Blackchannel, an enchanted black marble stone hammer.
(Honestly, Sara's probably not the best teacher... she tends to get into what she's doing and sometimes goes too fast to explain it all to anybody else in a way that they can follow. A lot of high-end experts are like that, where it takes work to remember what somebody else probably doesn't know yet that the expert has internalized and doesn't have to think about. And teaching is its own set of skills. Teaching this sort of high-level specialty often works better in a one-on-one tutoring situation like this, where you can get immediate feedback, than it does dealing with larger classes.)
(Why yes, I do have teachers in my immediate family.)

Took me a little while to find you-Jenora by
jeso, as it didn't occur to me that the drawing would be under your Gallery's subdirectory 'Dancing' and not in the 'main' Gallery folder, but I found it. ^_^ https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40038176/ I remembered that I could do a free-breadth FA search using the terms 'jesonite' and 'jenora', with its one hit being the drawing in question.
Jenora, as one of our fellow FA folks' comment described, is therein looking thoroughly Bubble-gum-crisis Pris! <3 And Sara looks, in the present drawing, entirely at home making use of a tremendous titan's forge like this one.

Sorry, was kind of a partial quote there, because every time I see Sara at work I can't help but feel I'm watching a "Forged in Fire" episode.
(Which also has me picturing a silly image of Sara grinning in a mixture of pride and sheepishness as one slash at the sharpness test left the object bisected as easily as parting water. Leaving the judge with a dumbfounded expression at how easily it had gone through.)

*laughs* Okay, that explains my confusion, I completely missed what you were going for.
And your description reminds me of old Japanese folktale descriptions of a katana so sharp that if you dipped it in the water a leaf floating downstream would get sliced in half and the two halves continue on separately without slowing down. Or similar with the leaf just falling under its own weight.

Though the comment was partly in noting, I'd seen the xiphos done on 'Forged in Fire' before and looked at it for other reference purposes. I was confused at it being called a "xiphos" due to the cross-guard until I saw the shape of the blade and went "oh, yes, that's a xiphos".
After that recalling the "signature blade in signature style" standard spiel from the show :)
