Bugg Bearnard - Stan Sakai Style 1
Part of my 10 Styles challenge, where I drew the same character ten times, in ten different styles. First in my own style, then in nine others.
This is my attempt at drawing Bugg in the style of legendary cartoonist and comic author, Stan Sakai, best known for his epic comic, Usagi Yojimbo. I did this, and two other pieces in this style, in one stream, and I am immensely happy with how well it came out! I am a huge fan of Stan Sakai, and it felt so good to draw something so close to his style on my own!
It was a lot of fun to draw my bugbear rogue, Bugg Bearnard, in this style, and I drew it live on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/thedammitch
