Yeah, I like it too, I was using it as my avatar here until a week or two ago.
But favs are by and large a function of watchers, so 9 is pretty high for something in my gallery. I only have 22 watchers. And considering that it's an icon and I'm posting it as the commissioner and not the artist, I'd say that's doing quite well. generally doesn't put icons in her gallery, but her other works for me have gotten more favs than this. The collection of mocha avatars she posted, though, only got 9 as well.
But as an example of the disparity, when
posted my commission of me and Frai, it got 101 favs. When I posted it in my gallery, it got 6.
And of course, ya never know what will get favs... I've been kinda shocked myaself by the low fav numbers on certain pieces on FA. That happens less often, though, when the artist in question has over 1000 watchers.
