Tekak in the city

Once, long ago, there stood a city, the grandest and most advanced on the face of the world. Populated by lemurs who worked together to help each other, they advanced rapidly in math, science, health and other arts, until they became the pinnacle of civilization. But, when they began to grow jealous of each other, the seeds of mistrust were planted, and their perfect world shattered. Within only a few generations, the grand people had degenerated into a nearly feral, savage race, containing little to no understanding of how great they truly once were.
Now, they inhabit the jungle surrounding the city, protecting it from outsiders, though they themselves are afraid to set foot in the cavernous chambers, as traps and death wait there, set by their ancestors in paranoia. But every now and then a lemur will return to look upon the great stone world they once knew, and hunt the wildlife that have come to inhabit it. Tekak, a male of the savage tribe, surveys the land from a high vantage point.

Really like the body paint, and the amount of detail in the city is very impressive :)
Like the sweep of the wispy clouds, too.
Great job!
