I'll start off by saying direct inspiration for this guy came from Star Wars' General Grievous and Bionicle's Rahkshi. His "tail" is no more a tail than a third arm that can be retracted back into the body when not needed. I'm not quite so good at detail quite yet, so try to forgive the simplicity of the design. Also included is a crude attempt at explaining the armblade apparatus ^^;.
