"Pananananda": because silly titles are silly.
My sister was sick last week, and I'm living several hours away from her these days (college), so all I could do was send her a panda. So I did. This is a rather quickie painting, hence my extensive use of the leaf brush. I like the colors, but I think the panda's pose looks flat.
I also experimented with a different kind of shading. This was done entirely with a hard brush. I smoothed out the colors by pressing "alt" a lot as I brushed over it. (alt selects the eye dropper in Photoshop on a PC.) Methinks I like this. I'm considering using it on something I'm working on right now (not Marquis, something else), but the brush strokes look good on that one |D;;
