Whoohoo! Another one built and tested. I'm happy this one is working (mostly) as intended. I've been wrangling with this circuit for a while trying to get the output in a range I like to use, and keep the component count down. I've also tried to simplify the circuit as much as I can, since when things get complicated it gets tough to troubleshoot issues.
Speaking of which, this module has a bit of voltage drift when the sample rate is really slow (less than 1Hz). If its a couple of seconds between samples, you can really notice the voltage (pitch when used for 1V/Oct) swing up or down. This should be fine for other CV stuff like filter control.
Guess I have something to work on for the next revision.
More to come!

Ya I hear you. For most applications, the generic stuff I get from Tayda and the like are just fine. But I suppose in this case I should use something a bit higher quality.
I need to breadboard this up again and see if I can't fine-tune the circuit a bit more. Maybe I can get away with using a smaller cap. (currently using a 0.22uF for the "hold")
