first off, i just wanna say that it felt pretty odd pulling headlights out of the oven....hahaha.
But yea, baked them after removing the screws and rubber on the housing at 250 degrees for 15 minutes to soften up the adhesive seal and split the lens from the housing. then removed two more screws to seperate the plastic Bezel from the lense. reason for this?.......To have custom headlights for the Oreo! its a simple prosess and can be done in a few hours but you REALLY need to know what you are doing or it can cost you alot more time and easily depending on your vehicle, 100 or more dollars for brand new headlights.....i sprayed them black to give it alittle more fierce appeal. once the sun comes up im gonna reinstall them and proceed to pulling out my Odomerter cluster and re painting the gauge trim white....may even see about tinting the LED's behind the gauges blue.
And incase you are gonna ask, yes its still legal for the silver and Reflector to be gone at the turn signal cavity so long as your bulbs are amber color. installed pic later after i actually get them in. up next im gonna fabricate a new Short ram intake and dress up the engine bay a bit. got a Streetkiaz Meet and greet up in scottsdale this november and need i say im gonna drag this thing at speedworld with the Arizona Group. hehehe.
I can do this dirt cheap for anyone nearby whos interested.
