You don't see too many of these anymore! More's the pity. About a decade ago, a friend and I went to a gun show in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and I helped him pick out his first gun. It was a Ruger Security Six with a matte stainless finish and an original wood grip.

Once I was at a gun shop (again, in Fort Wayne) - this was some years ago, btw - and they had a single-action revolver in .30 Carbine! Never saw anything like that before or since. A cowboy revolver in a WW2 caliber. It's one thing if it's a double-action (like the Taurus Raging Thirty), but a single-action?! The chambers were specially designed to catch those rebated rims, kinda like the chambers of the ultra-rare Medusa 47.
