Bugg Bearnard - Avatar: The Last Airbender Style
Part of my 10 Styles challenge, where I drew the same character ten times, in ten different styles. First in my own style, then in nine others.
This is my attempt at the style of the show, Avatar: The Last Airbender, in a high-budget scene. Since I can't see Bugg being an actual bender, I made him a swordmaster, instead! The thin lines on this one were really tricky, and I learned a lot about defining contour by cel shading from the show! And then I had time to knock in a fast background. =P
It was a lot of fun to draw my bugbear rogue, Bugg Bearnard, in this style, and I drew it live on stream at https://www.twitch.tv/thedammitch !
