I was super excited to see this finalized piece...and it actually has a pretty funny story. I guess that at some point (early 2021), I was looking through artists to commission. Blancway is an amazing artist and, when I reached out to see if they were taking commissions, they told me that their que was currently full but that they would put me on a waiting list. This was fine, and they said they would let me know when they were ready to take more commissions (which they said would be a month). Well, 6+ months later, I get a random message on Twitter from them asking if I was still interested in a commission. I will admit, I had COMPLETELY forgotten about ever wanting a commission, let alone what I had even been wanting to commission in the first place...but, Blancway was so sweet in messaging me and just super polite, so, I told them I was still interested and I ordered a piece from them of my OC Faen. And can I just say that I AM BLOWN AWAY at just how amazing this is!!!! Every update, every WIP, I was just...jumping up and down! I don't think ANY piece I have ever gotten has captured my character as perfectly as this. From the look in her eye, that expression, the fire...just all of it is *chef's kiss*. So please, check out this amazing artist. I will absolutely be commissioning them again in the future.
