It's getting very late tonight and it's time to go to bed, but Zane is still going at it on his PC. He's either playing TF2 or WoW, Sobek really doesn't know. At this point, they all are blending together, as he's quite groggy and grumpy. The Kroko is in need for some Bunneh-snuggles now, but will have to wait till after Zane stops cursing at the monitor. Hope all the ruckus doesn't wake up their roomie, Maya.
As much as he likes arcade shmups like Wani, Zane is more of a PC gamer, using the computer to play FPS's and MMORPGs when Kroko isn't drawing stuff on it. Sobek is kinda indifferent about PC games, and doesn't quite see how Zane could be so passionate about it.
Edit: Hehehe! Changed a few things and removed the white border.

I don't get it. D:
Okay, there was this shmup on my old computer. It was on a Windows 95 Acer computer, which I assume came with that game. It was vertically-scrolling, and had quite a few distinct features: It was a demo that had about 5 or 8 playable levels and twice that amount for the paid version, it had a 2-player mode that let the first player dock into the second player's ship for increased damage, and there was an enemy string that looked a lot like the spinning things that the first boss in R-Type shoots at you. The last and most distinctive thing in my opinion was the design for the ship. It looked just like one of the special cursors on the Windows 95 OS, somewhat 3D, brown and without a tail.
Do you have any clue at all what game it is? What it's name is? Or at least a recalling of the game so I know I'm not as crazy as people think I am? I haven't played it in forever and it was my favourite game. My father got rid of the 95 a long time ago so I can't recover that nor any other of the few games that I haven't seen anywhere else.

OK. I had a hunch and I checked Google. I think the game you're talking about might be Tyrian. The game recently became freeware and now has a port on the iPhone, which I have. It doesn't have 2p, thus why I had to Google up info on it. I think that's what you're referring to.

Sorry late. :D
It's strange, though, because I could've sworn there were a lot more than just the 5 levels that it tells about in the wiki, and I swear it was a 5(or 8?)-level demo when I played it. Everything Microsoft touches turns into a demo! *flails*
God, I thought they didn't have it listed here but I guess I just didn't recognize the name right:

Just the title gives me so much nostalgia it's amazing! x3 Too bad I'm allergic to nostalgia. It's strange; I always end up feeling sick and wanting to cry out of sorrow. x:
Regardless, here's a bonus question! Same computer, same package, same genre. The only difference is that it's a 3D one. I know I'm not crazy with this one because I found a forum with it's mention but nobody could remember the name. You're a pilot with an objective that's no longer known to me, but you shoot down other planes and have what I recall being 3 or 4 bosses to defeat, the final one being a giant snake. Got any clue? xD
