Quick drawing of my interpretation of adult!Rani while taking a break from working on comms.
You know the drill by now, I like drawing characters from TLG in the arstyle of the TLK movies + tweaking a bit their designs. In Rani's case this is what I tweaked: changed Rani's nose color, added nose gradient, made dorsal stripe cover her whole tail too, got rid of the spots on her legs (maybe they faded away as she reached adulthood) and changed her scar.
I my TLKverse, the nerves of Rani's right foreleg were damaged after she got her scar, this means that her grip isn't as strong with that leg so Rani has more trouble taking down big preys during a hunt. Not being a good huntress despite being a young, strong lioness (and a Queen, no less) heavily affected her during her teenage years, and the feeling of self-doubt still lingers even in her adulthood.

Thank you so much!! <3 I'm so happy that you like it, although most of the colors were taken from the tv show haha, I only changed the nose and the sclera which were too bright. Tbh I think her overall design is -good-, and it's TLG's chibi & oddly-proportioned anatomy (especially her face) that makes her look weird in comparison. But the moment she's drawn in a TLK style she looks so much better!
