After a month of drawing this, I can finally say i achived my goal of drawing a full body from head to toe. It might not be the best drawing in the world, but it is MINE, and that's enough to make me feel happy. I know my strengths, such as how much i enjoy and respect greyscale shading (after finding it boring and something to ignore (over a fully colored work) for 20 years), and my weaknesses, such as facial features and drawing hair. That gives me new goals and direction on what I want to improve on.

Hey there, everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been too active on the posting side of things. I got hit with covid, unemployment, anxiety, and a few other things that made me really re-evaluate my life while I was bedridden all of November and early December.

I don't know how many will read this, so I'll keep the story as short as possible; from jobs to relationships, I gave a lot of my loyalty and dedication to everything but myself, but got betrayed in the end by both. Then i got seriously ill for...a concerning amount of time. I'm moving on from all that now, and decided to focus on improving my life, one positive, small goal at a time. I only have one life to live, and while I still want to be friendly and wholesome to others, I learned that I should give that same love to myself as well.

So starting since Janurary 1st, I made it my life goal to stop being afraid of being bad at drawing, as well as to learn as many languages as I possibly can. I always wanted to draw, from sexy anime pinups to paintings to landscapes and action scenes, but I was too afraid of not being able to measure up to other artist. Long story short, I learned that the only artist i should be competing against is myself from yesterday.

I also want to be multilingual, not because of any work-related skills, but simply because I felt like it, and want to educate myself as a hobby. Simply for a personal sense of accomplishment before i die, and the desire to speak to a lot of friends of mine in their own native language.

Currently the language i am learning is:

Nederlands (A personal, close friend of mine is Dutch, and I would like to talk to him in that language, even though his English is is damn near perfect XP)

Japanese (To enjoy content not translated for US customers)

And the languages I wish to learn over the years:

Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French (A good number of friends are native in this language, but are not as good at English, so I would love to talk with them in their tongue, just to make it more enjoyable for both of us.)

Mandarin (Just in case...though I do love 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' related stuff a lot.)

Hindi, Ancient Egyptian, Al-Behd, Greek, Old Norse, and many others simply to have a closer understanding of my favorite mythologies and cultures.
