June 17th 2015 You came into my life.
January 16th 2020 I had to let you go.
I've lost many a pet in my life, and they've always hurt, I've lost, dogs, cats, and birds throughout my life, but I've never forgotten them. They remain in my heart for my entire life, the most recent though, hurt the most because before I had Benjamin, the decision to rehome/euthanize pets due to complications with health was up to my parents and I was rarely a part of that process. Well, in 2020 that changed when I had to decide what was best for my tabby cat Benjamin.
For the past two years I've mourned heavily, and I know that's going to continue because doing something like that affects you for a very long time.
So...this goes out to all you pet parents, that have lost your furred, feathered, or scaled babies.
They loved you dearly, and they are waiting for you at the rainbow bridge.
Keep them in your heart.
Never forgotten, always remembered.
They'll be there, whenever you leave this world. It may be an eternity for you and your pets until you reunite...
But they will wait for you, no matter what. Their loyalty does not end when they leave us in this world.
